香港國際電影節協會主辦的第5屆「夏日國際電影節」將於2010年8月11日至9月13日期間舉行，網羅來自14個國家及地區37部電影，於香港5個主要場地放映71場，包括1部世界首映、4部亞洲首映及6部國際首映。

Presented by the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society, the 5th Summer International Film Festival (SIFF) will run from August 11 to September 13, 2010, with 37 films and 71 screenings from 14 countries and regions across five venues. The SIFF will include one world premiere, four Asian and six International premieres. 

故事簡介

失業欠債，老婆又走佬的金先生投江自殺不遂，飄流到首爾漢江上的孤島，他發現人生可以如此輕鬆，靠着一股傻勁在孤島求生。三年不出閨門的宅女金子，滿足於虛擬世界的多重身份。她意外以長鏡頭對焦發現這名荒島戇男，偷窺引發兩顆寂寞的心遠距離柏拉圖式碰上，觸不到的愛總是來得夭心夭肺，亦賦予金子最終破宅的勇氣。導演李海俊（《小肥仔麥當娜》，31屆）再次從被社會拒絕者的空虛心靈，挖出一個荒誕另類的都市愛情童話。

Synopsis

A recession victim chooses suicide by jumping into the Han River, only to end up on a tiny uninhabited island smack dab in the middle of Seoul.  Problem is, no one pays attention to the island – or the man…except for one peculiar soul who has not left her room in three years. She spies him on her camera and soon, an improbable romance begins.  Lee Hae-jun, the co-director of Like a Virgin, created an unlikely box office hit.
